Should we pay uploaders?

Hello Everyone,
I know this question may sound a bit useless and everyone would like to earn money via their uploads, however some people might not like that because we would have to put some restrictions on the speed and embeding videos, so we thought it would be the best to put up a poll and see what you guys think.

if the speed will remain the same like now in future, I would say No, do not pay for uploaders.. Instead I would want you to earn, as very few divx sites provide this speed. not even stagevu!
maybe not in short term but with this video quality and stream speed your site will be more popular by time..

Are you serious? Pay uploaders for pirating movies to your website? lmao thats ridiculous.
They should be paid as soon as they agree to pay the people who took a risk by financing the films. Why should crime pay?

@Hung Solo , @Poyzin – I understand your concerns regarding the copyright material, as the DMCA states on our website we will remove any video as soon as we receive a formal complain from the studios, however with all these said you still have a solid point and we know that piracy and copyrighted material will appear on the site more often if we pay users for their uploads simply because “Movies” and “TV Shows” receive a large amount of traffic.
@Odfi – if we do not pay the users for their uploads, we would try our best to keep the speed the same, however if majority of people request the payment feature, we would have to bring down the speeds a little bit due to the heavy costs of bandwidth and servers.

No instead you should go back to allowing 2gb uploads as it is quite aggravating that you can only upload url full videos.
I would say that paying anyone to upload would be unwise… I would recommend reinvesting the money in the site and provide even faster service… quality of service will get your viewers to stay with you, and paying someone who uploads a pirated film is considered an accessory to a crime…
from a business standpoint I wold highly recommend NOT PAYING up-loaders… it could very well end your site.
@Eggar4ever – There must have been a small configuration issue, I will report that to our technicall team and will have it fixed as soon as possible. (*The upload limit will be 1.5GB as mentioned before)
@Afterfreeze – Thanks for your wise comment and reasonable opinion, at the time that I was creating this blog post, we were getting our programming team ready to implement the feature, however with the recent comments and emails that we have received we are having second doubts. about the quality of the service, we are trying our best to provide a quality service and at the same time we try our best to keep the respectful copyright owners happy.

I think nobody should get pay for uploading. I think if we upload stuff is because we want to share with others not because we want to get pay….It’s kind of helping others and get help as well. I’m not a member of this website but it’s an awesome website, it’s fast and that’s what i like about it. I have tried other website and they are pretty slow and some of them like, Megavideo you have to pay some amount to watch or download. So that is why you shouldn’t pay the uploaders. If you keep the website fast and free, you will get more members.

You should pay the person who submits the highest quality video.
@Amovie – We appreciate your thoughts however atm thats not possible due to the fact that we encode all videos so all the videos with high quality (1080p, 720p) will be the same after the conversion however we are planning on changing the system to also provide HD quality for videos that are 1080p and 720p.

My Second time here.. first time leave quickly and no profundize in it… But m8 don´t care for uploaders we are looking for sites where share with others.. and this server has millions of posibilities .. fuc*** best.. Same quality – DIvX – Flash.. ohhhh we really want this..
